A Chippewah Widow by Mckenney & Hall - Art Print

At a meeting of the Indian Chiefs in Washington DC, where the tribal chiefs received medals of Peace from President Andrew Jackson, paintings were commissioned and a book was created of these paintings. All the paintings were destroyed by fire, as were many of the tribes, but the book remained.
