The Steel Sharp with ERT (Edge Retention Technology) magnetically embeds a carbide sharpener directly into the handle of the knife ensuring that you always have a keen edge on your knife. Unlike other systems that rely on an ungainly sharpener on the sheath that requires you to remove the sheath from your belt you can easily remove the ERT carbide sharpener module from the handle of the knife itself and put a fresh edge on your blade then securely reattach the sharpener which wont fall out due to the magnetic retention design.
